This course provides an introduction to operational management
strategies for food, beverage and labor cost in the hospitality and
retail grocery industries. Upon completion, students will have a
knowledge base for employment in retail deli/bakeries, restaurants,
catering, institutions and various foodservice industries.
This course is ideal for individuals who have some food service
experience and want to increase their knowledge and skills in the
food industry in order to pursue a job promotion.
Salary Range: $10-$14 per hour
for entry level positions with potential to earn more with
additional training and experience
